Local tools

Student Services is committed to supporting a healthy and happy student life physically, mentally and financially. Various offices are located on both campuses to help make your university experience unique and memorable.

Financial Aid and Awards

The Financial Aid and Awards Office helps students and prospective students in seeking and securing financial assistance. Student financial assistance is available in various forms, including government financial aid, usually in the form of student loans and/or bursaries, university scholarships and bursary programs, on-campus work opportunities through the University Work Study Program, and corporate scholarship programs.

Counselling and Development

Counselling & Development helps to empower students to maximize their personal, academic, and career potential through the many diverse programs, resources and expertise that are offered regularly on both campuses.

Dean of Students

The Dean of Students Office is the principal resource for policies and procedures as these apply to the non-academic aspects of student life. The office supports student groups and their governing bodies and the Dean of Students encourages students in the conduct of their own collective affairs, facilitating the growth of student associations and the active involvement in them by students. Sub areas include the Multi-Failth Chaplaincy, and the Concordia Childcare Centres.

Health Services and Residence Life

Health Services

For a healthy mind and body, the medical professionals at Health Services are at your disposal. With offices on both campuses, they are available with or without an appointment.

Residence Life

If you’re looking for a place to live on campus, you can contact the staff at Residence Life to rent a room in one of the residences. The Residence staff work to develop a safe, healthy and positive environment that supports academic and personal development for all residents. Residence houses students from different religious backgrounds, of different races, and different sexual orientations.

Recreation and Athletics

Equality, integrity, excellence and fair play are the virtues that Recreation and Athletics aims to instill. Through various recreational, instructional, and elite athletic programs, open to all students and the wider community, they are committed to being exemplars and advocates of the benefits of physical fitness and wellness. The department seeks to achieve this through research and knowledge in an environment that is inclusive and accessible.

Advocacy and Support Services

Advocacy and Support provides services to a number of specific student audiences. Their sub-divisions include the Centre for Native Education, the International Students Office, the Legal Information Services, the Access Centre for Students with Disabilities, and the Student Advocate Program.
